A shareholder in the law firm of Axis Estate Planning, Victor A. Veprauskas, IV offers his clients highly skilled legal representation throughout the state of Michigan, with his office in Troy (Oakland County), Michigan. Mr. Veprauskas’ practice focuses on estate planning, business succession, administration of trusts and estates (probate), and Elder Law (both pre-planning and crisis planning). In addition to his law practice, Mr. Veprauskas, holding a Series 65 license, is a financial advisor (investment advisor representative) with Abundance Financial Coaching, LLC. Mr. Veprauskas regularly presents on the topics of estate planning, probate, Elder Law, and investment matters.
Mr. Veprauskas graduated magna cum laude with his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political and Economical Philosophy from Wheeling Jesuit University in 1998. He then went on to attend the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, graduating magna cum laude in 2001 with his Juris Doctor.
Following law school, Mr. Veprauskas was admitted to practice law before the state courts of Michigan and before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan. In 2007, Mr. Veprauskas was also admitted to practice law before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin. Mr. Veprauskas was a business litigation attorney for years, developing a reputation for being a highly skilled litigator and negotiator, before focusing on estate planning law, estate administration, elder law, and other closely related succession planning areas.
Mr. Veprauskas co-authored a book in 2021 “The Reluctant Advisor – Why Your Attorney Could Be Your Ideal Financial Advisor” and had an article published in the Nov. 2010 issue of “Risk & Insurance magazine.” He actively participates in several professional and legal organizations. His memberships include the State Bar of Michigan, including the Probate & Estate Planning Section of the State Bar of Michigan.
When Mr. Veprauskas is not assisting clients with estate matters or financial coaching matters, he enjoys his German Shepherds and spending time with his wife. He and his wife actively enjoy Michigan’s great outdoors – camping, ATV riding, hunting, and shooting sports.
